The Apsley & District Lions Club will be hosting a grand evening to celebrate the Club's 35th anniversary. The Apsley & District Lions Club extends a warm invitation to join us for an evening of great food, music and fellowship to celebrate this occasion. For those that have visited our Club before you know what kind of a fine evening it will be. For those that have not visited our Club yet we will enjoy your company and create new friends in the service of Lionism.
The date for this event is Sat Sept 26th 2009 . Club secretaries will be receiving information regarding further details as well as on this site, So circle your calendar on Sept 26th to have a great time with the Apsley & District Lions Club.
3rd annual Apsley Lions Winter Carnival Feb 28th and Mar 1st 2009. Sled dog races, horse drawn sleigh rides, sled dog rides, ski-joring, live outdoor music, children's games, local vendors with displays, local artisn's selling art works, food on-site, public skating, trappers carnival plus mush, mush more. Roast beef dinner hosted by the RCL Br 381 Sat afteroon. ( 2 sittings)
Sun Mar 1st: Pancake breakfast from 08:30 am to 01:00 pm followed by a figure skating carnival All events take place at the Lions Park and Community Centre (except beef dinner @ RCL Br 381)
